There are four ways to register for NOSC 2012:

Registration Fees:

Faculty/Staff Community Partner Student
$395 $150 (individual) $100 (individual)


$395 (community partner group of up to 4 people; 4 registering together would equal $99 each) $395 (student group of up to 6 students; 6 students registering together would equal $66 each)

NOTE: To encourage maximum participation by student presenters at NOSC 2012, the University of Alabama Graduate School will provide a $100 scholarship covering the cost of registration for all students who are presenters in accepted Session, Poster, or Poster Symposium proposals.

Refund Policy
If your plans change after you register and you cannot attend, you have two options: 

1. Send a substitute – make sure your organization does not miss out on the valuable learning experience you had planned.  You may substitute a colleague at any time with no charge or penalty; but please notify Registration Services at (205) 348-3000 or toll-free at (866) 432-2015, by email: or by fax at (205) 348-6614 to ensure a name tag is made for your replacement.        

2. Ask for a refund – you may cancel your registration and get a refund without penalty if you let us know of your change in plans no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on Friday, September 14, 2012.  This will allow us to make adjustments in our materials and meal guarantees.  Participants who cancel after 4:00 p.m. CST on Friday, September 14th will be subject to a $50.00 cancellation service charge. Please put your request in writing (fax acceptable).  For any cancellations, you must contact Registration Services directly at (205) 348-3000 or toll-free at (866) 432-2015, by email: or by fax at (205) 348-6614.

Those who register and simply do not attend the conference will be liable for the entire fee. Paid registrants who do not show and do not call will not be eligible for a refund.
